Hilarity

Hey, folks!

Are you into laughing and not being stabbed? Then you should come to IB tonight for [info]incontango's Comedy Smackdown [this may not be the actual title]. Neutrino has three hilarious sketches in it and we're prepared to take on fierce competition from Hard Left Productions, Improv Jones, and Rebels Without Applause.

This business is going on all month long at the Hump, so come check out the intense, mind-melting competition!

Future competitions include stand up comedy (7/9), video & film (7/16), improv (7/23), and "head-to-head skills challenge (7/30).

A Party!
[info]bwilder
Hey, folks! So, I am trying to get a bunch of folks to come out to an event! There's a party for Neutrino this weekend, and if you're reading this, you're invited. It's not like most house parties though, because it's a fundraiser with a suggeste $10 donation at the door. See, Neutrino, with all of its apparatus, is an expensive show to put on, and most of our runs so far have been awesome-but-unpaid gigs.

There will be booze though! And [info]perich (possibly joined by me) will be on the wheels of steel. People will also be shooting video and there might be raffles. You (and also I) can't afford to miss it! If you wanna come, comment and I'll throw you on the evite!

49 Hours

So here it is, folks! The extremely disqualified fruits of our labor.

I have more stories and lessons learned than I could shake up to seven sticks at. Right now, I think I'm going to take a pre-screening nap.

48 hour film project
[info]bwilder
Hey, ljfriends!

So, I'm directing the production of Neutrino's 48 hour film next weekend, from the evening of May 4th to May 6th. As of right now, we have no idea what we're doing and we won't until 7pm that evening. At the drop of the hat (well, a pull-out-of-the-hat, actually), we might have to make a sci-fi film, a western (or musical), a spy film, a historical film, a war film etc. The more resources we have access to, the better. If you have the ability to get me in touch with permission-granting people at interesting locations (work in a futuristic or historic building? Or in a karate dojo? A doctor's office? Anywhere that might be fun to film is useful), costume-shops, or other potentially cool set pieces (sports cars? fake guns? You tell me!), the better off we'll be. We'll also need bodies to help out and there are a few creative positions available too (namely in visual effects and possibly scoring)! So please comment below if you feel like giving up part of your weekend to help out or help me gain access to potentially interesting place or things!

LASERS!
[info]bwilder
Not really.

What this is about is that there is a Neutrino show on Saturday night! Be there or be square! My goal is to make the music actually work this time!

In other news, Veronica Mars is likely cancelled. I'm less perturbed than I might have been a year ago.
